February 26

Marvin, Angie, Addie, Ilana and Anali came for a visit today along with Tony & Josie. The girls really had fun with their cousins and even Lenna warmed up to Angie and "chatted" with her for quite a while. Susan was happy to be able to play Smurfs on Addie's iPhone.

February 25

A quiet, busy Saturday morning. I love the sun that shines in the living room in the morning. It makes it nice and warm in there. Susan is Harry Potter's newest fan! Finally, Lenna is trying to get the ice cream out of the shopping bag.

February 24

Becky being Becky. She was eating ice cream but wandered into the kitchen, saw I still had some salad and grabbed it and ate that first.

February 23

We have had a run of gorgeous spring weather - even though it is only February! So I headed to the park with Lenna & Becky to really take advantage of the warm sun.

February 22

Maggie is playing on a competitive softball team this spring. They've started practicing once a week. Here she is during a water break.

February 21

There's a new Captain Underpants in town.

February 20

Maggie took a little nap ~ she was tired from ice skating. I went up with Lenna to get her, and Lenna ran right to Maggie's door to wake her up.

February 19

We needed to update our door wreaths so we got felt, stickers and a styrofoam wreath to make one for St. Patrick's Day. This was prior to loading up the shamrocks with stickers ~ I was just checking to see if I had enough shamrocks to cover the wreath.

February 18

I think this is a perfectly acceptable way for a 2 year old to eat spaghetti.

February 17

Here we are at Zayna's Cuts for Kids for Beck's haircut. Lenna really likes to just sit in all the fun cars.

February 16

The piece of chicken on the top looks kind of like Scooby Doo. Well, his head, anyway. I took a picture of Becky's hair because she was getting a haircut the next day.

February 15

Maggie is teasing Lenna with a lollipop.

February 14

Happy Valentine's Day! I made these heart-shaped frosted brownies for the girls.

February 13

Becky has started drawing people. Little egg-shaped people, but people. And she wants us to hang up her pictures all over the house.

February 12

For Grandpa Tony's birthday I made some heart shaped cookies and a chocolate cake with a 9 and a 3 candle. He got a real laugh from the candles! The girls gobbled up the cookies and the cake didn't last very long either.

February 11

Maggie has taken to drawing Angry Birds on arms. This is Susan's. The first time my kids came across Angry Birds was when we were at the mall and stopped in the Apple Store to play with the iPads a couple of weeks ago. Now Maggie is an Angry Birds tattoo artist.

February 10

This is the mess that Becky and Lenna make EVERY day.

February 9

I like it when I find random pictures drawn on the various Magnadoodles we have in the living room. This is one of Becky's creations.

February 8

Hanging out in the back of the gym during Beck's dance class. Lenna found my card case in my bag and spent the 45 minutes looking at the Santa picture.

February 7

The girls were just hanging out in the kitchen, waiting on dinner. Maggie is showing how long Becky's hair has gotten since her haircut. I think it might be time for another one, but shorter this time.

February 6

A little light reading before school.

February 5

We were all decked out in our Giant gear, ready for the big game. We headed to George & Jeanine's for a pre-game party, then made it home in time to watch the Giant's win.

February 4

Lenna and Beck having been playing with the little play laptops they got from Santa. They like to get them to play music and then dance around.

February 3

Maggie, Lenna & Susie having breakfast before school.

February 2

Beck made this train track all by herself.

February 1

Dance class time again. Smink is going through my bag, looking for snacks. There were only 3 girls there today so they started to learn the "Persian Princess" dance. I remember when Susan did this one.
