November 17

Tea parties really just never get old.

November 16

Maggie's last Thanksgiving Feast at Randall Carter! I got to serve corn and corn bread. Luckily both Maggie & Susie were in the same seating so I saw both of them.

November 15

The Randall Carter 5th Graders had their group photo taken this morning. It was cold. Lenna played on the little playground while I held the ladder for the photographer.

November 14

Becky's class finally had their Halloween party at school.

November 13

This particular toy has been in the garage for a while. After this photo was taken Lenna insisted on putting it on the couch and got frustrated that it was too big and didn't fit. Which made me remember why it was in the garage.

November 12

Lenna got the big bag of Fritos and was running away from Maggie.

November 11

And then again she still looks like a little doll baby.

November 10

All of a sudden Elena looks very long and lean. When she gets to age 4 she's not going to have any baby fat to lose.

November 9

Zayna's Cuts for Kids really has a great train table.

November 8

We woke up to a pretty blanket of snow; the warming temperatures had it all melted pretty quickly. Anthony took Maggie & Susie into New York to see the Radio City Christmas Show, compliments of Radio City after their less than good experience at the show last year. They had lunch at a diner, walked up to Central Park which was closed due to all the trees down, spent some time at FAO Schwarz (clearly the highlight of the trip) then headed down to the show. Their seats were close to the stage but off to the side. All in all they had a fabulous time.

November 7

Lenna is always quite serious when she plays with the bead table at the library. Meanwhile, we had our first snowstorm of the fall/winter. About 4 inches total.

November 6

My Halloween crew! The girls finally got to celebrate Halloween at school, so I put everyone in a costume to get a photo. No trick-or-treating this year, thanks to the Hurricane.

November 5

I'm glad the squirrels were well fed this fall.

November 4

Becky being silly wearing Anthony's slippers. It was good to get things back to normal after a crazy week.

November 3

Our power came back on late Friday, so we headed home Saturday morning. The fallen brances had been cleaned up so we were able to get a good look at the damage to the fence. There were piles of cut up trees all over town Saturday.

November 2

Finally some progress - the town sent out trucks to start removing all the fallen trees. This one was removed late Friday and PSE&G arrived Saturday to get the power lines hooked up.

November 1

Becky fell down the stairs at Dad's house and got a nice bruise on her head. The girls really enjoyed ice cream cones after dinner!

October 31

We thought some donuts would cheer the girls up on a very cold Halloween morning. We ventured over to my Dad's; this tree fell right across his street taking down his power lines.

October 30

Hurricane Sandy, Day 2. We all slept downstairs, which was quite the adveture. Some branches from the big oak next door fell on our fence, and we had some roof shingles and some siding blow off but no major damage. There were a lot of uprooted trees all over the neighborhood, many of them taking power lines down.

October 29

Hurricane Sandy, Day 1. I took this late in the afternoon. For the most part it was windy, but not too windy. And we didn't get a whole lot of rain. The wind really didn't kick in until night.

Anthony and mini-Anthony.
